I would probably do this:
- Create images for every chapter title
- Create images for every idea covered in each chapter (so multiple images per chapter)
- and depending on the length of the book, maybe even create an image for each page
This should be doable in a few hundred images, again depending on the length of the book.

Yes that’s a good idea as well - depending on the book, you can probably come up with a different aesthetic theme for each chapter. In general, the more different you can make the items from each other, the better.
